Colin Kaepernick: Nike, The NFL & Jay-Z

Song – Marvin Gaye ~ “What’s Going On”

Ferrelux Blog Quote: Genua Obstrepentes Quia Nigrum Certamen (I Kneel In Protest For The Black Struggle)

You know the name and the controversy. I knew not jumping on this particular story on the onset of his movement, would yield more for me to cover after we’ve seen the shit play out over the airwaves from last year till now. Who is this Hispanic-looking Brother with an Irish name? Colin Kaepernick is the bi-racial child of a blond-haired blue-eyed Mother & African-American Father and he’s a football athlete who plays for the San Francisco 49ers. With the on-going police brutality against “Black” Men & Women everywhere in America, him taking it upon himself making a striking political statement at NFL games by taking a knee during the singing of the American anthem, is in the praise-worthy spirit of deceased Civil Rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This move drew angry criticism from a segment of the population that were “White” (racist or not) who didn’t think the NFL was the right platform to protest urban bigotry & that it showed disrespect to the flag and The Nation. Well…. Other attacks on the issue has been done before by Newscasters, Youtubers, The Common Person on the street, etc. Kaepernick is the only Football Player to put a spotlight on the problem by using the Sports Industry. The only other pivotal moment in history was the 1968 Olympics when 1st & 3rd place medalists, (Tommie Smith, Gold & John Carlos, Bronze) dark-skinned track & field athletes playing for the United States, went on the Olympic stand proudly wearing there medals, through up the Black Power fist during the American anthem for the World to see protesting in the struggle for the same racist persecutions going on at the time in America where The Black Panthers took a political stand opposing the Governments treatment of us. Admidst those medalists was the solitary 2nd place winner from Australia, Silver-Medalist, Peter Norman. People don’t know much of him, since he’s not the primary focus in that iconic photo, but he too as a “White Man” was involved in the protest in his humble way, because he decided to wear the Olympic Project for Human Rights (OPHR) badge in support which was contoversial, and ofcourse even though he was already a medalist, Australia didn’t use him again because of it for the next Olympics, but he’s also noted in history for taken that stand at the time. America punished the 2 Black athletes too expelling them from the team. The 3 athletes kept in touch with each other in life re-creating the historic pose as old men. Australia later repented declaring a Peter Norman day. When he died, the 2 surviving Black athletes carried his coffin. Why the protest at the time? THEY had to, and Kaepernick had to, the police brutality, etc. When you’re “BLACK” and you’re living it everyday, something is wrong if you’re not protesting in some way. Yes, the move drew anger from President Trump and Kap got fired. He filed a lawsuit against the NFL because after all, it IS his Constitutional right to make an expression like that. The suit yielded some pay, but not to great satisfaction, he did not get his job back. So as time went on, Sports giant Nike, entered the fray embracing Kap, and that move upset those same people who don’t like what he did. Nike stocks dropped for a while, but they kept Kaepernick & he looked and sounded great in those print and televised ads. Soon, the minds of people changed back in favor of Nike & the sales happened. And as we went on again in life, another change happened where recently Rapper Jay-Z made the comment that ‘it’s time to move beyond kneeling’ and this drew much criticism. It was taken as a diss, but the comment is subject to interpretation. Do we keep marching & kneeling as an oppressed people? That’s how many movements start before it gets physical. What he did was effective enough to draw attention to the issue. Kaepernick’s motives have been criticized by some who feel he’s just looking for attention, he wasn’t a great enough athlete and they were going to cut him, so he did that move as a tactic. Well, that’s all speculation. He got fired anyway, the point is, he inspired other NFL players to take the knee with him and The Brother, showed where he stands politically, rocking his fro. So what now? Well….., the NFL has Jay-Z with them as a part Owner and some see that as a betrayal, but Jay-Z is another strong Black Brother who declared he wants Kaepernick re-hired. Whether he has the power or not to make that happen remains to be seen, the point is, they are trying to clear up a problem. The NFL has seen a steady decline over the years in ratings & interest. They’ve lost their heyday. Just trying to pick the right Halftime performer to hold the audience & hope everything goes right is a daunting task. When they chose Adam Levine last time, Cardi B, like Rihanna stood with Kap and chose not to perform the song they did together, ‘A Girl Like You’. Adam Levine & his band Maroon 5, should NOT have taken the job, but he thought the controversy was good for him, not realizing he was further exposing himself. Months before that on ‘The Voice’, he fucked over DeAndre Nico, a strong soulful Black Contender on his team for some lesser singer (Reagan Strange), a young white female he knew personally, who was nearly voted off the prior week, who got voted off the competition the next week BECAUSE, America didn’t like that, and the fiasco was all over social media . So HIM, opposing Kap, and doing a lame performance at the Half-time show, also hurt the NFL. Until they properly solve this issue with Kap, their general approval will continue to drop.

Mandela Centennial & Winnie’s Death (2018)

Pro Libertate Patriae ~||~ For The Liberty Of My Country

Amandla Awethu! Power to the People! As the year winds down, we remember the lives of freedom fighters Nelson Mandela, who would have turned 100 years old July 18th 2018 & his beloved Winnie Mandela who died on April 2 this year at age 81. The struggle still goes on. When you are the real majority of the people on the globe & the real minority are those oppressing you. When racism and greed fuel a global political agenda. When the Oppressed themselves in some parts fail to recognize it affecting their lives & mobilize to stop it. We look back to see the triumph of a man who was sent to the lowest depths of his life, only to rise like a phoenix to the top. How genocide & apartheid strived to keep him & his people down. The inhumane & wickedness of it all. This still goes on everyday in the United States of America. And what keeps it alive is hate, greed & apathy; a continual problem nobody is correcting politically except for infrequent times when it suits them. When it looks like we’re finally moving forward with change, society as a whole digress back to that old comfortable phase. Why? Well, human nature. The innate ugliness of fear & contempt won’t disappear. And so we live with it pretending that we’re better today when just yesterday, you had no problem disrespecting another or denying them their basic rights. We don’t like each other, really. We only pretend we do, but some of us know better, while exercising the aptitude to improve.

“Shithole” Countries

Ooooh here we go again. Trump on the Immigration thing. He claims to have never used the derogatory term referring to African & Caribbean nations as “Shithole” countries that the U.S. are accepting immigrants from & that they should let in more people from places like Norway. Well…………people from well developed wealthier European countries would NOT want to relocate to America because that would be a drop in their standard of living. The point that Trump missed is the whole propaganda effect; promoting the lie that life is better in America. So when poorer immigrants come here thinking life is better, they quickly learn that the only real value is struggling amidst the stresses of life to earn the American dollar is the only strong suit here, because in reality, what they left behind was a better way of life, & THAT is the real sacrifice.

Charlottesville’s Confederacy

The White Supremacists raised their ugly head again, this time in a Charlottesville, Virginia march that took place Saturday August 12th 2017. Obviously a rally like this coming to a town near you in front of Black people, wouldn’t end peacefully. The person behind this White Nationalist nonsense was Jason Kessler. You can read more about him here (https://www.splcenter.org/fighting-hate/extremist-files/individual/jason-Kessler)

Now, bright people THINK before they act. Once again their White Power thing backfired. Let’s look at the last time something happened, when there was talk about removing The confederate flag from government places, monuments, stores etc. Society was s-l-o-w-l-y moving towards that idea until the ‘Alt-Right’ kept pushing their luck. A Brave Black Activist, Bree Newsome, climbed a flagpole in front of the Statehouse in Columbia, S.C. on June 27th 2015 & this event was seen live on TV, moving the hearts of Black People everywhere. Here’s a woman who took action, while closet racists White Officials were sitting around legally deciding if it was racist to keep the flag displayed on government property. Eventually they decided to remove it due to ALL the media attention, really. (https://splinternews.com/bree-newsome-a-year-after-charleston-we-still-need-to-1793857618)

The ‘Alt-Right’ attracted the counter-march of the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement. And racist ass David Duke just had to be there supporting the ‘Unite The Alt-Right’ Movement, to no avail because the backlash came when one of their own racists, James Alex Fields, Jr., wound up driving his car into a crowd of protesters in attempt to kill Black people, but only succeeded in injuring a portion of the crowd and ultimately ending the life of an innocent young White Woman, named Heather Heyer, whose death was felt by The Nation. She became the cause celebre for the individual State leaders like Gov. Andrew Cuomo from New York & others, to answer the injustice by REMOVING the racist statues of Confederate Army Generals Robert Edward Lee & Thomas Jonathan “Stonewall” Jackson from government places, etc. about the city & making VERY public statements about racism & that ugly incident in Charlottesville.

NOW,…….had the racist idiots just kept their behind shut, & move on with life, they still would have had the cities around America populated with their racist stuff still. No one was noticing or paying attention to that shit around them because it was historical stuff reminding people of how far we came from the past. But when you keep tickling hatred, reminiscing about some racist past time period, THE PEOPLE react by doing away with the last remnants. Now their bigot world is getting smaller & smaller & smaller…………………….

MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Jay-Z 4:44 Still Nigga

You’ve seen the mysterious 4:44 ads everywhere before the release of the album at the end of June on TIDAl. You can read More about it here ~ Jay-Z 4:44 Album
Like many other “Black” people, I’m feeling the song ‘The Story of O.J’ because the message is so true. The subject matter of the song applies to O.J. too & is a more roundabout title to use to draw folks into discussion, than, ‘still nigga’ which, is the catch phrase throughout the song driving the point home. And WHY…well, the eerie child-like voice croons, because ‘my skin is black’. The sad fact is many “Blacks” still suffer from getting this fact, especially when you look at cases having to do with popular Celebrities getting in trouble with the system. Now you know what it is. No matter what your accomplishments are, it is all rigged against you. But yet the “White” counterpart with the same, similar or worse offense is not attacked in like manner or even exposed the same way. Access to opportunities & resources is not the same for you
“Black” people or any other group that isn’t “White” since they control & manipulate the wealth globally until that changes. Why is it that some “Blacks” forget this simple fact, well….the delusion that you are also included. If you do this, or get that, & be a good little Black person you can access this reward. Well, many have done that & many of them are nowhere. The truth is even if you tried, the roadblocks are there & many of our people are in a state of suspended animation. So much competence & potential but deliberately kept behind from making it even though you are better. What should sadden you is how used our people are. So what if you represented the country at the Olympics & won the nation gold, you get to go back home to racist America watch an NBC commercial featuring your win, then placing a subliminal racist ad about some mud make-up product, or monkey image in the one commercial that plays all the time on their station just after YOU Black athlete. And I could go on & on because no matter
how decent you are, it is what it is, the prevailing societal projection, my Nobel Peace Prize Winner ~ STILL NIGGA

Trump June Assassination Attempt Fail

Rumors & plotting of assassinating our current President Donald J. Trump have been swirling since last year with numorous occult videos on youtube calculating the date & hour & such of their interpretations of Illuminati plans,…WELL……he’s STILL HERE! 🙂

The attempts started last year though with one of his own. Check out this young Caucasian boy.

The plan is still on though. The Shakespeare in the Park play drew on it with the actor who’s playing Julius Caesar dressed as Trump & Calpurnia, his wife, looking like Melania Trump. Well, this theme of getting rid of Trump is very popular despite the controversy. Even Kathy Griffin got in trouble for her extreme artistic expression with the effigy of severed head of the President.

Here is Trump Supporter affected by these jokes featured on the Alex Jones Channel………

Here’s Mark Dice, another Trumpy finding a fault with it too………….

Put she paid the price though with attacks on her career. The’re those popular & common who
supported her actions. It still doesn’t kill the popular sentiment.

The Buzz about Trump being taken out is still anticipated if any of the common folk prophecy reports are true. Look at some of these videos below.

Cinco De Mayo 2017

The 5th of May was the day when Mexicans who were poorly armed, defeated the French.

That day is celebrated today as a symbol of resistance. You have to understand that
Mexico previously defeated Spain in 1810, & later won against America in 1868.
So they defeated 2 major powers already & despite not having the military might,
Mexicans proved themselves formidable against France in their 3rd foreign
conflict situation to maintain their Independence as a free & strong people.

Find out more about this celebration

Here’s a More In-depth view of the history.

Another Short Perspective

And More on why it’s popular in America.
