Marvel’s Black Panther Movie 2018 (Review)

I LOVED THE MOVIE ~~~ It is true. By far the best Marvel Comics Movie Ever. The cinematography is like Star Wars/Star Trek meets any kind of African-based film. So I’ll try to tell you something without revealing TOO much if you didn’t see it yet because there are some surprises. FIRST, you must see the movie using the 3D glasses, you’ll cheapen the experience if you don’t. Oh, & I love the war cry of the Man-Ape Leader, M’Baku and his crew, The Jabari Tribe. And some territorial parts of the movie is reminiscent of the 80s cartoon Thundercats. The movie captures Blackness. There are comical moments breaking up the seriousness of the moment & everybody’s acting was impeccable.

Two familial rivals at war with one another in any fictional story doesn’t get old when these types of conflicts are real. I was feeling the character Erik Killmonger’s argument about using the advanced African technology to usurp the rest of the White controlled World, & it would have been interesting to see it pop off, but the traditions of a humble people retaining their culture in a quiet & secret enclave of the continent, is the other side of the preservation argument. What I got from the movie is a dialog between The African & The African-American. The tragic colonizing & slavery experience of Blacks by another people & how it affects us today & what to do about it. So we have a dead king named T’Chaka & his son T’Challa takes over as The Black Panther, & without revealing much, he’s poised with being a leader one expects in his region, keeping all that Wakanda technology private, or deciding whether or not to be concerned with other Blacks about the globe living in our present condition as a globally persecuted people & claim us. There are definite historical issues here discussed in the film between characters & it’s authentic. You’re not being schooled or talked down to, it’s just straight-up conversation between rival characters motivated by different things.

The film shows the power of Women. In history, African women battled White colonialists on the battle field & WON. The narrative in this movie deals with an Outsider, representing ‘The Black Experience’ of the African-American, who returns to Africa with a lot of anger & vengeance in his heart. While King T’Challa, is the authentic African at peace with himself, with all his wealth & culture intact. So what you have is a rivalry. The tribal divisions that was already in the land was still peaceful compared to the racial torture one lives, & the backstory of the injustice of one brother to another. So it causes greater division amongst the Blacks in Wakanda. Well, what do you expect? In real life it would. Who do you follow? As usual, there would be the presence of a government Agent, representing The White People, let’s be real BUT see how all that affects him in the movie.

A lot of people like the movie & interpret it their way, while others have a problem, I leave the experience to you. And let’s not forget the power of The Black Panthers of the 1960s as they fought for the rights of our people to be self-determined & we see glimpses of the Black Power fist in the movie in honor of them. The film could have been made way back in the day (the 1990s) when the actor Wesley Snipes was hot, but he ended up doing ‘Blade’. The timing of movies can be an art itself. A piece of movie magic happens when something pops up at the right time with the right cast amidst a period when people need to see it while history unfolds a certain way where it becomes more meaningful. ~~ Lhisa  Ungelis  Mrklon

Floyd Mayweather Retires Undefeated

‘Oh it Won’t Last beyond 2 rounds’, REALLY McGregor? Where’s the ‘beautiful skull’ you wanted to add to your (Warlord) Collection, Hmmm? I knew he would lose.
Floyd “Money” Mayweather fought his last fight successfully as I expected, like the champion he is with that handsome face & build. I love watching him in action.
And now I have to find another new favorite boxer to cheer on. Past ones have been: Hector “Macho” Camacho, Oscar De La Hoya, Julio Cesar Chavez, Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson, Larry Holmes, Marvelous Marvin Hagler, Sugar Ray Leonard, Ray Mancini, &
Muhammad Ali. I ‘ve also been following Manny Pacquiao, who also lost to Mayweather
in a previous fight. So what now for Mayweather?

Mayweather 50-0 Boxing Record
Put Up Or Shut Up Conor Mcgregor

The Hype Before The Fight

A Run Down On The Fight

Here’s McGregor Explaining His Lost. AGAIN! even if Floyd changed up his style & started beating you, You should have been prepared for game.

Why Some People Don’t Like Him (The Attitude???) This Behavior shouldn’t Be Unusual In Competition.

More On McGregor’s Personal Life

And The Conflict Hype Between Them Was The Draw. Conor McGregor (29) really needed the win to take out such a Veteran boxing champion Floyd Mayweather (40), but a champion will always be a champion no matter WHAT you say, Trash Talker. Like the man said after every fight in most cases, ‘I going to beat who ever they put in front of me’. And
you proved yourself a WINNER!

Now Let’s Hear From The Champ!

The Kanye West & Jimmy Kimmel Feud

If you saw the special, because Jimmy gave him the whole show for this reconcile & cancelled the guests he had & guess what one of their names were? Some musical group with the word Monkeys int heir title. REALLY, this goes to show that my perceptions of Jimmy Kimmel over the years is dead on. He is is racist. He likes making racial jokes using terms like mud, monkey, or other derogatory associations denoting Black people because it is SOOOOO consistent in American media in general.

Break Dancing

A quick one folks. Just got done viewing the below youtube video & was mesmerized by the technique. When I usually view beak dancing live & in the flesh, obviously the performance is great. Seeing those moves on TV, not so shocking, but in watching this old school style makes the danceform look other worldly. The perfect body precision, fluid movement & so on. Too Cool.

Mariachi Kid Sings Natl Anthem & Gets Racist Tweets

Hi ya’ll. When you view the below videos, you’ll get the basis of my blog today. So many subtle political changes have taken place in America in favor of Spanish immigrants which we have seen in the news. Some of them include free medical insurance & other government benefits, an illegal reporting a crime that happened to him/her without the threat of deportation, certain approved rights within Arizona including the right to express their culture in the classroom, American HR forms & other legal documents separating themselves from other classes of races as if they were a neutral race of their own & not of mixed blood, favors from Obama & so forth. The point is, Hispanics are looking for special treatment & have gotten it to some extent, but when it comes to the racist reality of those not in power (since majority rules) they are still generally perceived as cockroaches. Many of them are seen with suspicion & under attack in White neighborhoods but yet they wish to segregate themselves from the struggle with Blacks whom they are safest among. And now some Hispanics discriminate against Blacks & even attack them. Regarding the below videos, if it were an older person who had been out there prepared to handle it like Pitbull & others, then it wouldn’t have bothered me or the masses as much, but a really young boy who didn’t do or say a damn thing to deserve such a disgraceful attack on his person? This should show Hispanics (& the term is questionable too) that they are not socially acceptable amongst them & quit trying to identify with THEM even if you are light skinned because if you are Spanish & love being Spanish, you need to get rid of your Spanishness to fit in. If you are unwilling to lose your culture (which frightens them) then you have no business trying to look for social approval amongst their kind. Let these videos marinate in your mind for a while & consider a better strategy in recouping what your ancestors lost…..(on the more ethnic side of your breed I mean).
